Getting started

I've decied that im starting a new 'series' thats basically all about health fitness and weight loss. To sum it up, im going to be documenting my exercise and eating plan, along with a record of the wieght i lossed/gained in the process. I'll be sharing low fat recipes and great workouts that im liking randomly throughout the weeks too. Feel free to join in with me because id honestly love that. 

Im trying not too get too personal with this but, recently i was told i had some blood problems. ( Im still being tested for things but i may do a post on it later). These problems make it hard for me to do things like walking and standing without getting dizzy and needing to lay down. So with that most of 2011/ 2012 were spent in bed. Without any form of activity i gained alot of weight. Im very insecure about my body, so much so i hate leaving the house and i get in a panic when people look at me (stupid, i know). So im doing something about it, a years plan of healthy eating a exercise to slowly, but safely help me ( and you if you join in) lose weight!

 Personal Goals

• Lose around 3 pound a week. 
• Hit my target weight of 7 stone.
• Start yoga to increase flexibility and muscle tone.
• Drink 2 litres of water everyday
• Incorparate new fruit and veg into my diet
• Get into my old size 10 jeans 
• Gain some confidence and learn to love myself!

Okay so this isnt a haul per say because these amazing products were given to me by my amazing kind boyfriend. the reason i call it a haul is because i couldnt think of another word for it, just thought id put that out there! 

All the products had 10% off when they were bought so everything is a couple pounds more now. I love all off these products so far. Im not going to get into deail about them in anyway as im planning of reviewing them all for you.

Would you rather? tag

Would you rather, beauty edition 

I found this tag on youralmostalice's blog and thought i would give it a bash too, not gonna babble for too long today, just getting straight into it :)

1. Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows? - I think i'd rather lose all my pallettes and eyeshadows, i dont think you can complete a eyelook without eyeliner and mascara.

     2. Would you rather chop all your hair off or never cut your hair again? - I'd rather chop all my   hair off, i cant stand dry ends it makes me feel horrible. Plus you would chop all your hair off for like a cause and raise money while doing it.

    3. Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek? - Im in love with coral right now, as you will see from my upcoming haul. So its a no brainer for me, a coral cheek.

    4. If you had £1000 pounds to spend, would you clothes or makeup? - As much as i wanna say     makeup, cause theres no much high-end products i wanna try, id spend it on clothes. I like fashion more than beauty, i think its all those years watching Bratz thats given me a "passion for fashion".

    5. Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick? - I would apply eyeliner as lipstick, you can buy lots of colours of eyeliner now a-days, i know theres a new range from sleek that are makeup pencils that you can use on your lips and eyes so id buy a bunch of those.

    6. Would you rather shop at only mac or sephora? - here in the uk we dont have sephora but if we did id rather shop there.

    7. Would you rather wear one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life? - I'd rather wear one lip colour for the rest of my life, beacuse i love playing about eyeshadow all the time.

   8.  Would you rather wear summer clothes in winter or winter clothes in winter? - I love winter fashion, I'd  love to wear it all year long if i could, so id wear winter clothing in summer.

   9.Would you rather have bright or dark nails all year round? -  For one, i hate nail polish so i wouldn't wear either, but i love bright nails on other people.

  10.Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product? - I would give up my favourite lip product, sadly.

  11.Would you rather wear your hair in a pony tail or a messy bun? - I would rather wear my hair in a pony tail, i dunno why but ive been wearing my hair like that everyday this past while.

  12.Would you rather only wear nail polish or lip gloss? - I'd rather wear lipgloss, again i dont like nail polish.

  13. Would you rather shave off your eyebrow and have none at all or sharpie them in? - I'd rather shave them off. I cant even imagine a shapied in brow, it makes me cringe!

  14. Would you rather live without makeup or nailpolish? - Nail polish for sure.

how i maintain my blonde hair

a little while back i died my hair "baby ash blonde" i  think the colour was, and i noticed the other day that my hair was getting really bassy and had lots of almost orange patches running throughout. This is where people that are pretty unware about hair care would run out and buy another bottle of hair die and think problem solved, the reason i say this is because i am very guilty of doing this for so many years. Until my hairdresser told me all i needed was a bottle of toner. for a while i used something called "silver shampoo", for a while it worked fine but after about a month or two of using it the effects wore off and my hair got used to it. Recently i bought a new product that works amzingy so i thought id share what i do.

provoke- touch of silver- daily nourish conditioner £2.09 from boots

colour restore- iced platinum hair toner- £11.99 from boots

 

perfectly pure coconut oil- £15.99 from holland and barret

first i wet my hair and apply a equal amount of my colour restore toner all over my head, i leave it to sit for around two hours. After that i rinse out the product and apply some of the touch of silver conditioner and let that sit just for a couple of minutes and then rinse that out as normal. This never fails to give me gorgeous blonde hair every time, and for a bit of extra care i love to add a small amount of coconut oil to the ends of my hair, and i often find that if you apply coconut oil to your whole head and let it sit it lightens the hair, but maybe thats just me? i hope you enjoyed and i'll be back soon! kisses xoxo

my favourite heels

yes, i am one of those girls who is shoe crazy, i often refer to them as "orgasmic" or "my babies". i understand that its extremly sad but, it cant be helped. never will i be able to walk past a shop window where, perched on little stands is gorgeous strappy sandals or 6inch killer heels without doing a little weep of joy.

my favourite type of course is heels, i mean who doesnt love a good high heel? i thought, what would a good first post be? so obviously my favourite heels sprung to mind. so this list wouldnt go on all day i whittled it down too three pairs, enjoy and il be back in a couple days! kisses xoxo

lets start by saying a massive hiya to everyone reading this, i thought id start out with a small post to get myself into the swing of thing.
im kirsten and from scotland, i felt like life was getting boring and i was just sitting around waiting for things to happen. i decied no more and this month i was going to change things up. so here i am.
truth is, im just a average girl with a motor mouth ready to talk about everything and anything including beauty, fashion and life style.
