Bootea Teatox Review

picture was taken from Google images**

today marks my 14th day on the Bootea Teatox.
Before I get into my experience with the tea, I'll give you the rundown of the brand and the tea itself.
first things first,

what is Bootea?

Bootea is a uk based company that promote a healthy and active lifestyle.

what does Bootea promise from their product?

they state that there product will,

•    Increase your metabolism
•    Burn calories and convert food to energy
•    Burn fat & counteract fat storage
•    Regulate blood sugar levels
•    Assist in the digestion of food
•    Suppress appetite
•    Improve skin health
•    Improve quality of sleep
•    Cleanse & detoxify
•    Allow you to reach your health/weightloss goals

how does it work?

with your order you are provided with two packets of Bootea,
( a daytime blend and a night time blend)
you take the daytime blend first thing in the morning, with your breakfast, and you take your night-time blend right before bed (every other day).
the night time blend does have the laxative affect so it is suggested that you take it right before you sleep to insure you don't have to wake through the night to "go".

I lost around three pounds while taking the tea, which I'm okay with, I did expect slightly bigger results considering all the hype around the weight-loss aspects of the tea.

I do see a drastic difference with the bloating around my stomach. I've lost a total of three inches off of my waist which is amazing considering the short space of time it took to achieve.

the night time tea worked fine for me. some people found that the laxative effect was too much for them but it was absolutely fine for me, I had no problems with it what so ever.

both teas tasted fine to me as well, they don't have a strong taste at all. they don't take any getting used to, at least they didn't for me. I could take them without any natural sweetener, they tasted really good on there own.

my overall thoughts are that this tea shouldn't be used so much so as a weightloss aid, more so as just a detox to clean your system every so often.

I do plan on getting the 28 day Tea soon.

the 14 day Teatox is priced at £19.99
and the 28 day Teatox is priced at £37.99.

just a itty bitty show and tell

hey everyone,

I really wanted to share some really cute clothes I found but I had forgotten the prices and I'm not sure if the shops still carry them because this is all from November/December.
so I thought instead id just show you them, more as a look at my growing style more than a "haul", so I'm calling this a show and tell.
enjoy!

i made more cake!

hey everyone,

the 15th marked my elder brothers birthday, it was a really good day, we had fun, ate way too much food, but best of all I got to whip out my mad baking skills again (just kidding).
I knew for ages what I wanted to do for his birthday cake, because secretly I wanted this so bad for myself.
my self and my brother, Liam are OBSESSED with a TV show called criminal minds, basically its like CSI, minus the lab and test tubes, plus 10x the action. its amazing!
I suggest you check it out on Netflix if you have it, you wont be disappointed.

the main cake is made up of three layers, and I just used a basic square sandwich tin that you would make a tray bake in.
I cooked everything off and let it cool for a good 3 hours, then iced the middle and carved the sides to make the cake one. you'll get what I mean if you attempt something like this.
I then followed up with a crum coat  of regular vanilla icing and lay my black fondant icing over the top which I rolled out, remember to always sprinkle icing sugar over your surface when working with fondant icing! its a huge help.
as you can see my base fondant isn't perfect but it doesn't matter, and until you try it yourself you will never fully under the struggle of laying fondant on a cake.
for the text I print out a picture of the logo and sized it up with the cake, then cut out each individual letter. then rolling out the matching fondant colour to the letter, I placed the template I made onto and simply cut around it. (believe me there was nothing simple about it). it took around three hours to get the letters all cut out. It was so small and tricky not just to cut out but also to lift and place on the cake. I stuck them all down with water and that's it!
and might I just add I didn't have a template for the 'fbi' bit at the bottom, free hand ladies and gents (holds for applause).

as for the cupcakes, we had leftover cake mix and thought why not?
so we have the main characters of the show which me and my mum had so much fun making, basically just laughing at each others drawings. my personal favourites are Morgan and Rossi.
also take a guess at his age, there's a big clue in there! leave your guesses below.
we iced the cupcakes with bog-standard icing and then drew them on with icing tubes.
it was a lot of fun, like seriously, so many giggles!
tell me what you think of the cake cause id love to know,
kisses xoxo

how i pamper my sick self!

hey everyone!

I really wanted to blog weeks ago but of course the winter bugs just wouldn't leave me alone this year, as they do every year, so I basically just couldn't get started.
poor excuse I know but I'm ready to get back into things and take them more seriously.

it came to me yesterday that loads of people, the same as me are sick or get sick a lot during the cold winter months and this its just my little guide and ideas so perk yourself up and beat the winter blues.

so first things firsts, if you don't have to be anywhere, SLEEP IN!
there's nothing that makes me feel better is laying in bed a little longer when I feel poorly.

okay so when I pull myself out of bed, which when I'm sick is usually around half 9 (just in time for Jeremy Kyle, aww yeahh)
winter is my porridge season, or oatmeal depending on what you call it.
so I start my morning off with a small bowl of that with a cup of tea.
putting your tea in a cute cup is nice too, mines reads to a very special sister, which I am. cups don't lie. now go sit down watch some jezza and relax.

so even though we feel horrible we still have to wash our faces and get washed and all that bathroom stuff, but I think doing a face mask when your sick is a nice little pick me up you can add in to your normal routine. I've chosen the seaweed clay mask from the body shop. I highly recommend for oily skinned guys and girls like myself.
I also used the seaweed deep cleansing face wash and the vitamin c cleansing polish, both by body shop also.

my next step, put your feet up, grab a blanket, a book, the TV remote, a family sized bag of Doritos, a tub of Ben and Gerry's, everything you need to get comfy and relaxed.
this is the perfect time to catch up on TV shows too, my recommendations are covert affairs, gossip girl and my all time favourite love, criminal minds. if your not familiar, then why?. go Google it now then continue reading... okay done? good.
I picked my Miranda Hart book and a hot water bottle as my comfort items.

cant forget to mention, this is my hot water bottle, his name is Louis Spence giraffe. (a small inside joke with my family). I just thought he was too cute not too talk about

also do you like my in-between leg shot, (so seductive).

watching Disney movies always make me feel better so take your pick, get comfy and watch your childhood favourite movie. my personal favourite is Monsters Inc. I loved it too death, still do of course. my favourite princess was/is snow white. no clue why, the step mum scared me half to death whenever I watched it but I was such a hardcode fan I didn't let it stop me (holds for applause at my six year old bravery). I loved it so much i got the snowwhite costume for Christmas one year but it was to small so we exchanged it for a massive grumpy stuffy, later to have my little brother mash a banana into his beard and pee on him. yes. pee. pee.

I love a bubble bath, its just the perfect end to a day and they always perk me up.
im currently trying out the soap and glory bath float, I really like it so far. also the flake away I think it is body scrub. and that nivea shower cream is so good, highly recommend!
also get a cute dressing gown cause how down wanna look cute getting out the bath?.

I hope this made your day slightly better, these things always help me cheer up.
also if you are having a sick day today then I hope you feel better soon!

kisses xoxo

excuse me miss, theres a minion in your fridge!

hey everyone, i know this is late but, I've been in a cake coma.
nuff said!

it took 3 days to make, it was so challenging and time consuming, i almost gave up,
almost, but i didn't.
i know you wanna see it so here it is!

it in no way looks professional, its covered in lumps and bumps, the cake board's fondant covering crumbled off a little, but it was made by the family,
so that makes it amazing in my opinion, also this was my first time ever making anything like this.
the most I've done is a basic sponge.
i didn't watch a how-to, although i know theres a few dotted about the Internet,
i think its pretty awesome for a free hand cake thing!

basically, this is four layers of cake mix bags,
covered in vanilla butter cream.
fondant made with plain white fondant from shops,
coloured with gel food colouring.

on request, our minion doesn't have a goggle. it did have but, wasn't like so i had to remove it.
that's why theres black around the eye area.
the D on the pocket is instead of G for gru.
my little brother really liked it, as did my tummy!
we still have way more than half a cake left.
this serves so much. I'd say maybe 30+ depending how big you cut it!

click here to watch a how-to if your interested on trying it out too!

id love to know your opinion on it, is it good or bad?
also happy birthday to my little brother who turned 12!
kisses xoxo
